Big Brother’s Reggie: “I’m Going Blind”

Tragic news for Big Brother winner and former fish n’ chip shop owner Regina Sorensen (nee Bird). The mother of Mia, 16 months, has revealed to Woman’s Day that she has a degenerative eye condition.
“I will go blind. I was devastated and so upset. I knew it was there, but now that it has gotten really bad… it has just really hit me,” she said.
Reggie found out three weeks ago that she was suffering from retinitis pigmentosa. She has now been declared legally blind and her eyesight is deteriorating rapidly. She told the magazine that her greatest fear was not being able to watch her 16-month-old daughter Mia grow up.
Very sad news.
