Whimsical Animal Portraits from Etsy

Posted by Elizabeth Leach at 7:30 AM on August 19, 2008

Could this be an eccentric cousin or uncle? That's what I see when I look at the pieces by Berkley Illustration, my latest Etsy favorite. They could be family portraits. I want to frame them and hang them in my staircase. Each one is hilarious and beautifully drawn. A serious owl, a goat eating his tie, a dapper sea gull in a top hat, among many others.

Each 5×7" digital, archival print is created from an original pen and ink drawing. Hang them in the nursery or anywhere in your home for a touch of whimsy. (US$15) Shop Berkley Illustration.
