7 Days of Educational Toys: Lace and Trace Pets

Posted by Erin Behan at 10:30 PM on August 24, 2008

We had Lace and Trace games at my Montessori preschool. Montessori is a method of teaching that supports learning through individual exploration instead of classes led by a teacher. Your child can experience the Montessori method even if she doesn't attend a Montessori school by giving her the tools like these classic lace and trace cards.

This Melissa and Doug set comes with six jumbo, double-sided cards and six color coordinated laces. And like most Melissa and Doug toys, this one comes in a wooden storage case. Purchase Lace and Trace Pets (US$9.99) and many other Montessori toys at Ebay.
