Move Over SuperNanny Meet the SuperManny!

Posted by SunnyChanel at 7:00 AM on August 25, 2008

Move over Jo Frost and take your British accent, sensible suits, and disapproving stares to your own fantasy land of well behaved and nicely mannered rug rats. There’s a new testosterone toting sheriff in town. Say hello to the SuperManny, a spin off of the highly rated behavior modification program.

First I must congratulate ABC on the utter originality of the name. Wow, genius. So why do they feel the need to do the show with a Manny (the role will be filled by the “gruff” Chicago child therapist Mike Ruggles?) "With a guy, he can connect with dads in a different kind of way," executive producer Nick Emmerson said. "It's really powerful stuff." We’ll have to wait to find out, the pilot will air in the US later in the year.
