Vintage Heart Boxes By The Red Thread

The Red Thread is the passion of Sydney artist Lisa Tilse, whose love of colour, design and the radiant imagination of children led to the creation of some unique pieces of art.

Lisa has recently started to use her collection of children’s storybooks from the ’40s to the ’70s to create her range of Vintage Heart Boxes. A pretty, one-off addition to a child’s room, each heart box tells a mini story: text from the books is assembled under the vibrant hearts.

The heart boxes are priced from $185 – $290 depending on size, and may also be personalised. Take a look around Lisa’s site – her commissioned portraits are also a lovely gift idea or keepsake.
