Matilda Rose Will Inherit $US16 Million

After the passing of Heath Ledger in January of an accidental overdose, it was discovered that the actor had never updated his will to include his daughter Matilda Rose. It was rumored that she may not inherit anything, however, that is not the case.

Ledger's estate is estimated to be worth about $US16.6 million and his daughter will inherit it all.  Heath had named his parents and sisters as the beneficiaries in his will and had never changed it once Matilda was born.

There was speculation that Matilda's mother, actress Michelle Williams would try to stake a claim, but Heath's father has ended any speculation about that.

"There is no claim.  Our family has gifted everything to Matilda."
