I am sure the PM and Treasurer would have been glad if they are watching the same media as me - I have already seen two &#039;average&#039; pensioners who when interviewed said they were very happy with this payment, it meant they would have extra money to buy more presents for the grandkids at Christmas time.
If I remember correctly, no pensioner groups had previously been asking for an increase in the pension to help fund extra grandchild-gift purchases ...</description>

I think that this money is actually going to the right place rather than spending the money in bailing out financial institutions so they can still afford to pay nice Christmas bonuses to their executive.</description>
