Please – Would Someone Put A Jacket On Suri?!!

Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and their daughter Suri were spotted leaving their Manhattan apartment on Friday night – as in last night, October 31.  October in New York, while it can be lovely out, it's on the brink of November and the nights can (and do) get chilly.  Suri is two - do her parents not realise they should be dressing their child appropriately for the weather?  Both Katie and Tom are WEARING JACKETS.  The strangers in the background are WEARING JACKETS.  Why?  Probably because it's nippy out and they don't want to be cold.  I'm guessing Suri would appreciate the same convenience.

I get it – they love their little princess wearing pretty dresses and maybe want everyone to see her lovely attire.  But seriously, the kid needs a coat on and really, is it that important to them that strangers gush over their daughter's clothing?  I would think their child's comfort and warmth would be slightly more important.  And her legs are bare!  Put a pair of freakin' tights on her – tights go with dresses – I have a daughter of my own and her dresses look just as beautiful with tights on her legs.  And guess what?  You can buy gorgeous little girl jackets that will look just fabulous over the pretty dress.  Get one.

Oh and to those who will say, 'but she's just going to the apartment to the waiting vehicle,' fine, but again, her parents are wearing jackets, and their legs are covered.  What about the times we see Suri out walking the streets of NYC with her mom and mom is wearing a coat but again, Suri is not?

Okay, off my soapbox now.  Oh, and Suri looks impressed – maybe she's COLD.
