I know that American TV chat show The View
on the W channel on Foxtel is very popular with Australian women – much more so than the dreadful local version, The Catch-Up, which Channel Nine tried to foist on us last year.

Regular viewers will have enjoyed the stoushes between the co-hosts leading up to the election. Today was great viewing, with fierce Republican Elisabeth Hasslebeck mustering up praise for Barack Obama and a teary speeh from Sherri Shepherd on what the Obama victory means for African Americans.
