		<description>What a great article!  It&#039;s scary isn&#039;t it, that somehow our economy is actually dependent on irresponsible unnecessary spending.  And it&#039;s like &#039;we&#039; (as a culture, not as individuals) have no idea how to stop.  We don&#039;t do cheap crap here.  We rarely do licenced crap, and we think our purchases for ourselves and our child very carefully.  But I can still, sadly, foresee a time when I buy my boy something just because all his friends have it.  Because my heart would break to see him a social pariah for not having the right shoes. (pathetic but true)  I hope I stay strong!  And articles like this - urging a more mainstream awareness of what is happening - can only help!</description>
