They're actually human and make mistakes. We'll always be younger and I sometimes find myself yelling in my own head 'shouldn't you have learnt by now!!!', but I think that's unfair. I guess we put them on a pedestal and judge them to a higher standard than anyone else. The more I realise my parents are just like me (in terms of making mistakes, being human, etc) the less critical I become of them. It's not easy, but I try.
