Has Something Gone Wrong With Ashlee Simpson’s Pregnancy?

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have disappeared from view for well over a week now, and there's been all sorts of speculation about whether that means she's in labour. Which is entirely reasonable speculation, seeing as a) she was due, like, two weeks ago and Pete started cancelling engagements over a week ago, and b) the Simpson/Wentz machine is not exactly media-averse. I'd expect Papa Simpson to be issuing press releases the minute the mucus plug appeared. So why has there been no news?

Jessica Simpson told Ellen Degeneres the other day that they're gearing up to induce labor, but otherwise the whole Simpson clan and everyone associated with the couple are keeping totally mum. Which, maybe means that everything is fine but just going really slowly. Or maybe it means – and I so hope this isn't true – that something has gone wrong or has gotten complicated.

It's not unlikely. I mean, in an age when a celebrity can get a c-section on demand, I'm sure that they can get an induction on demand, especially if they're two weeks past due (I, personally, would have performed a c-section on myself had I been forced to go two weeks past due with my behemoth baby, but that's just me.) So what's up?

I really do hope that everything is fine, and that in a rare display of restraint they're just cocooning as they prepare for and/or undergo this tremendous event. But still, I'm wondering.

She’s actually not that far overdue- Pete said around Thanksgiving, which is next week, and Jess said she’s due at the end of November. But she’s understandably uncomfortable and we are impatient which makes things seem worse LOL.
And there was a pic of her and Pete visiting a medical centre (presumably for a check up) a couple of days ago.

I was a month overdue and never induced. It was determined that I seemed happy enough where I was, so they left me there until I was ready.

Instead of panic-mongering, and pretending you’re not hoping for a scandal you can use to your advantage, why don’t you get a real job and leave them to the privacy they obviously want over this one important and personal part of their lives?

    You’re pathetic.

Icedmaple, maybe YOU should get a real job that doesn’t allow you to troll celebrity “fix” sites and do what you are being paid to do instead.
