Hugh Jackman: Sexiest Man Alive

Surprisingly, I somehow missed out on People's Sexiest Man Alive award this year. Who got it? My archnemesis, Hugh Jackman. The Australian actor, looking scruffy and muscular, is starring in the new film "Australia" with Nicole Kidman. At 6'2" tall, Nicole says, "Women's jaws drop when Hugh walks into a room."

Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh's wife of 12 years, says that her husband is a romantic who sings ballads for her and makes pancakes for Oscar, 8, and Ava, 3. When she learned of Hugh being the Sexiest Man Alive for 2008, she said, "I could've told them that years ago!" Then, jokingly, added, "Obviously, Brad wasn't available this year."

The couple met on an Australian TV show, Correlli. "She was my leading lady," said Hugh. "It was just undeniable. I started planning to propose to her at about 3 months. We are happy. Deb and my kids have been the best things that have ever happened to me, without a doubt."

And ladies, if you're wondering what he wears to bed, Hugh says, "I didn't wear anything until my daughter was born. We had a night nanny because I was working. I walked out stark naked, and she was reading a book. Now I like boxer briefs."
