Joel and Nicole Confused By The Weather

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden spent some quality time together in Los Angeles, soaking up the warm weather.
I think that they forgot to check the weather or coordinate their outfits before they left the house today. Nicole Richie is wearing a tank and Joel is wearing a sweater. She is wearing flip flops and his feet are covered.
He is from Maryland so he must think that winter time means cold weather. He's not yet used to southern California winters.
