What do you do if your one-year-old has diarrhoea? Or if your 6-month-old has a runny nose?
Instead of rushing down to the GP, or randomly searching on Google, there is a new Australian website that answers simple health questions and recommends a course of action for common ailments.
Family Doctor Home Adviser Online was developed by The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in collaboration with Dorling Kindersley (DK) Australia.
The site groups symptoms under the affected body part or process, such as ear and hearing symptoms or pregnancy and childbirth symptoms – to make searching easy. They also have a cool feature where you answer yes or no to questions about your ailment to further refine the problem and a course of action.
Check it out here.
