Have you come across Anorak magazine yet? Billed ‘the happy mag for kids’, it’s a quarterly magazine for kids from the UK, designed to appeal to both boys and girls.

Anorak has a unique format consisting of brand new stories written and illustrated by modern authors, fun fashion and style pages as well as a ‘good stuff’ guide which covers new products for kids. The graphic design is retro and whimsical and each issue includes fun craft projects and things to do.

It’s stocked at 200 newsagents in Australia, but if your kid loves getting mail you could splash out and order a subscription – four issues and postage to Australia will set you back £30, or $AU68.
