Jamie Lynn Spears Had Liposuction While Pregnant?!

Jamie Lynn Spears, 17, gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann in June of this year.  However, months before, the former TV teen sensation didn't know she was pregnant with a baby baby – she thought she was getting bigger because she had one of those 'I ate too much' babies.  You know, a dreaded food baby.  And what better way to get rid of a few extra pounds?  Have them sucked out!  That's what Jamie Lynn apparently did – she had liposuction while she was preggers.  Oops y'all!

According to Star, Jamie Lynn is worried that she may have harmed her now 5-month-old baby because she had plastic surgery during her pregnancy.  However, before we go blaming the (then 16-year-old) young'en, let's remember that because Jamie Lynn was underage, it would have to be a parent who would have to approve the procedure.  Ya, as in mother Lynne Spears.

Spears had just finished filming her hit TV show on Nickelodeon, Zoey 101, and she noticed she was putting on weight.  She didn't know at the time that it was because she was pregnant.  She begged her mom Lynne, to let her get lipo.  Mom said yes (allegedly).

A source said, "She [Jamie Lynn] didn't know she was pregnant when she filled out the health questionnaire prior to the procedure.  Her mom approved the injections and went through tons of red tape to get the clinic to administer them to an underage patient."  Yikes!

Dr. Gary Burton, plastic surgeon, tells Star, "Any form of liposuction is dangerous and should not be performed on a pregnant woman.  It poses serious health risks to the fetus."

From the photos we've seen, Maddie looks fine, but of course that's not a guarantee.  Hopefully that baby doesn't suffer any ill-effects (if true) from Spears having the surgery!
