TummyTub: The Bath Bucket For Babies

The TummyTub is not just any bucket. No, according to the press release it’s a “womb shaped and sized bath for babies”. In fact,

Due to its shape babies automatically adopt a foetal positon (sic)(familiar) and being submerged in warm water (familiar), face less gravity(familiar), are in touch with the walls (familiar) and have less strain on their tummies (familiar). This makes that (sic) babies instantly relax.

It’s up for an Australian Design Award, and I guess it’s good to see a competitor to the standard reclining baby bath, but I just can’t get past paying $50 for a bucket and $80 for a stand. If this is your bag however, you can pick them up here.
