Shatter Proof Christmas Ornaments

Posted by Lisa Mulcahy at 8:15 AM on December 10, 2008

Unfortunately many of the most prized Christmas tree ornaments will not be making it out of the box this year. I fear they’ll be ruined by little butter fingers, so this year I’ve been looking for some shatter proof alternatives for tree decorating. Here are two “oops forgiving” ornaments that are both great looking and cheap!

From CB2, Crate & Barrel’s hipper more affordable counterpart, these polished and brushed metal ornaments are modern, virtually unbreakable and are only $US2.95. Cherished hand-blown glass balls will have to hibernate for a couple more years, but at least there are some cool replacements.
