It’s Time to Dance! is the title of the premiere DVD from the hit ABC Kids TV show Yo Gabba Gabba. The DVD includes four song filled episodes: “Friends,” “Eat,” “Dance” and “Happy” -and you could win a copy.
Hosted by DJ Lance Rock, Yo Gabba Gabba infuses retro-style and modern-day music to teach simple life lessons through a vibrant world of puppet characters who play and dance when they hear the magic words “Yo Gabba Gabba!” It seems to be a love-it-or hate it kind of show, but here at Babble we absolutely love it.
Each episode includes a special guest, which could be anyone from Elijah Wood to indie band The Salteens. The program is rated G.
To win one of three copies, just tell us who is your favourite character on Yo Gabba Gabba and why. Don’t forget to read the Terms and Conditions.
Good luck!

hi, really my son loves yo gabba gabba and he could tell you all the names but i have no idea of their names?? and he is in bed and i’m not waking him to ask him! but he’d love it for christmas please… thanks!
“There’s a party in my tummy, there’s a party in my tummy”. I love Yo Gabba Gabba. Nevermind my kid! How could any parent not dig DJ Lance Rock’s funky style? My kid tells me he likes Plex, the robot.
Super Martian Robot Girl is a hands down winner. Who needs pirates vs. ninjas when you have a MARTIAN ROBOT. I’m trying to promote martian robots and play down princesses at the moment…
This is hard… but I’m going with DJ Lance– he’s awesome. As a self-respecting Gen x parent, how could I NOT love a kids show which has featured The SHINS. I’m not even sure if my son likes YGG but I love it, I want the cd for ME!
My 11month old Stella, loves Toodee, the big blue cat. Stella’s first word was CAT, so its cute to see her flailing her arms around squawking CAT CAT CAT whenever Toodee’s on screen!
(Mummy likes DJ Lance becouse he reminds us of that dude from DeLite who sung “Groove Is In The Heart”)
It would be awesome to start off Stella’s DVD collection with a YO GABBA GABBA disc!!?!!
Brobee is my favourite because my daughter Tahlia absolutely adores him. She’s only 17 months old but she tries to copy his crazy dance moves and it’s hilarious to watch. We share a few giggles together thanks to Brobee. I also love how he sings “Party in my Tummy” because he teaches children about eating healthily. It’s great how striped, green creatures can make important lessons fun!
