Britney’s Hunger Strike?

After a rough year and a very public breakdown, Britney Spears' father stepped in to help get his daughter back on track.  And Jamie Spears has done a pretty darn good job.  Although Britney still doesn't have custody of her children, she's getting to spend more time with them.  And although her career isn't quite what it used to be, she's certainly having some great success with the release of her new album, Circus.  All around, her life has taken a turn for the better.  However, Britney is feeling trapped and wants to be free of her father's conservatorship.  She's got a plan to regain control of her assets…starve herself.

Spears wants her father removed as conservator of her estate and has come up with bizarre plan to do just that.  She's reportedly fed up with being told what to do and has decided to go on a one-meal-per-day protest diet.  She'll eat only a small lunch each day and starve herself the rest of the time.

An insider said, "Britney thinks that if she doesn't eat much she will lose weight, then people will notice, then she thinks she will get to make her own decision once again.  She reckons she is better now so fails to see why her dad is still meddling in her life."

The source added, "So she has decided that she will protest by not eating.

"She has been told to eat but is refusing so is starting to look very skinny indeed.  But then that is what she is hoping to achieve."

I'm not sure how she thinks this will make people view her as stable enough to run her life?  Wouldn't it make her appear not ready to take control?  Plus, Brit likes her frapps too much to give those up (can't blame her there)!
