Baby, Or Burrito?

Boing Boing published a bizarre snippet this week from the crime briefs section of a Silcion Valley newspaper (date unknown):

Wal-Mart: Police receive a report of a newborn infant found in a trash can. Upon investigation, officers discover it was only a burrito.

WTF? I mean unless we-are talking foot-long burritos, I’m not sure how they look that similar. Glad they took the time to investigate it. But as a commentor from Boing Boing said, “Its a sad world we live in where someone could just throw a burrito away like it was a baby.”

Now that’s a thought to meditate on for the holidays. We’ll be back and posting on Monday 29 December, in the meantime we wish you all a Merry Christmas.
