Bonding with Books: Bye Bye Time

Posted by AmandaHill at 9:15 AM on December 24, 2008

Sometimes dropping your child off at school, daycare or the sitters can be hard on everyone. Bye Bye Time by Elizabeth Verdick is a children's book to help ease the tension for your child during this part of the day.  For many children, the time to say 'bye bye' to their parents is a really difficult. For a long time, my daughter had a toddler breakdown of epic proportions when it was time to say bye. The goal of Bye Bye Time is to help by applying simple rituals: hugs, kisses, waves and the like. If your toddler is at the stage where Bye Bye Time is becoming increasingly difficult, checking out Verdick's book might just be the thing. You can get one right now at Amazon for $US7.95
