Madeleine McCann’s Parents Release New Video

Little Madeleine McCann is still missing, and her parents have launched a new video appeal to help bring their daughter home for Christmas. Madeleine, who was three at the time she disappeared, vanished from the family's holiday villa at the Portuguese beach resort of Praia da Luz in May, 2007. Her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, were dining in a nearby restaurant.
The video features previously unseen footage of Madeleine at home with her family in Leicestershire, central England and ends with the message, "This is our second Christmas without Madeleine. Please help us make sure we don't have a third."
In a statement posted on their website, the McCanns say, "Reassuringly, we know that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever to suggest that Madeleine has been seriously harmed… In light of this, we passionately believe that there is a very strong likelihood that Madeleine is out there and can be found."
Let's hope they're right, and that Madeleine will somehow be found and returned to her parents. Regardless of what your opinion is on whether her parents were right or wrong to leave Madeleine and her siblings alone that night, no one wants to think that this child has been harmed in any way.
