Photos: First Look At Duggar’s New Baby Jordyn-Grace!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar welcomed daughter Jordyn-Grace Makiya last Thursday, December 18 and baby and mum are back home with the rest of the family.

The Duggar family appeared on camera for Monday's Today Show (minus married son Josh, 20):

When asked how things were going, dad Jim Bob said that everyone was "sleeping very well," to which mom Michelle interjected, "It's Mommy's the one who's awake."  See?  Dad has it easier than Mom – and yet they both would go for baby number 19.

But she added, "She is doing wonderful, [and] I feel good…. We're enjoying our sweet little girl."

How did they choose the name Jordyn?  The one requirement was that baby's name would begin with 'J' of course.

Jim Bob said, "I wanted Julie Grace,"  but others favored Jordan Makiya.  So they compromised and Jordyn-Grace Makiya it is.

When asked by Ann Curry if there's such thing as too many children (seeing as the Duggar parents would go it again), Michelle replied with, "I would say, saying there's too many children is like saying there are too many flowers."

Seriously, are these people always this calm, and collected?  I mean I have four kids, two of them grown, and yet I stilll manage to have chaos in my home.  They're a family of 20 and everything is so organised!

Their cable show 17 Kids & Counting will officially update on Monday night, becoming 18 Kids & Counting.
