The post-Christmas sales used to mean queuing up outside department stores and elbowing your way up the escalators to only to find yourself in a tug-of-war over the last pair of size 7 designer slingbanks.

Now there’s a more civilised way to bargain shop - without lugging the stroller around town. Many retailers now have an online store, offering all the same deals at a mouse click away.
