I'm not the least bit crafty. So when people talk about making quilts out of the sleepers and blankets their child used as in infant, my brain goes sort of fuzzy. While it is an awesome idea, I don't even konw where to start. My new sewing machine has been sitting in the box for two years. I don't even know how to turn it on,let alone fire up a quilt. Still, I'd love one of these quilts. So today, when I found out that Janelle Moore's Etsy Shop would do that for me, I was pretty excited. Finding someone to make a crafty memory for my family is pretty awesome.
All you have to do is box up the pieces of clothing or blankets you want her to use for the quilt. She recommends sending between 7-10 pieces or 10-12 if you are only sending onesies. She has great options for the backing of your quilt, and she makes them in a smoke free home. If you've always wanted a memory quilt, but aren't the crafty sort. Click on over.
