Wacky Celebrity Baby Names Influencing Aussie Parents

Before little Shiloh Jolie-Pitt came along, you’d have been hard pressed to find an Australian baby of the same name. But new figures from Births, Deaths and Marriages show that since Angelina and Brad brought Shiloh back into vogue, 30 NSW parents have followed suit.

While there have been a handful Apples and Suris popping up since the birth of Gwyneth and Katie’s progeny, the Beckham boys (pictured above) have proved the most popular.

There have been 41 Romeos, 178 Brooklyns and 185 Cruzs born in three years. Even Lleyton and Bec Hewitt have jumped on the Cruz bandwagon with their recent addition to the family.

As for the rest of the Brangelina clan, there were 29 Maddoxs, 35 Zaharas and even three children named Pax in 2007 after the boy Ange adopted from Vietnam.
