Jade Goody’s Cancer Cells Shrinking

Looks like great news for former Big Brother star Jade Goody: her chemotherapy sessions seem to be working. Jade was diagnosed with cervical cancer last summer.
“I do have good news,” she says, “I was told my cancer cells have shrunk a little, which means the chemo is working. But it’s too soon to say if I have a better chance of survival.”
Jade, 27, had an operation last week for a blocked kidney. “Once every month, for the next 12 months, I have to have two types of chemo drugs pumped into me through a tube. It takes 5 hours altogether. It doesn’t hurt, but it makes me feel really sick afterwards.”
The worst part is her appetite. “I get hungry,” Jade says, “but everything I eat tastes like metal and I throw it up. I’m sick three times a day and it’s going to get worse.”
