“Toddlers And Tiaras” – Judging Pageant Kids?

Posted by Mike Adamick at 1:15 PM on January 30, 2009

The Today Show featured a segment on “Toddlers and Tiaras” yesterday — interviewing several parents and their pageant-loving kids. (Who, to be fair, were definitely not toddlers — although maybe that was just all the makeup talking.)

Instead of Ann Curry, The Today Show should have had Dodai Stewart over at Jezebel performing the interview.

She had the best questions for the parents:

“Are they teaching their kids that appearance is everything? Are their children learning that it’s right to judge people based on looks? Do they worry about their kids learning to be “on”? And why are their children’s lives so jam packed with activities?”

My questions exactly.
