It drives a dark, broken and negative spirit out of one place and to another, to afflict someone else. And does nothing to bring the light to the dark spirit, does nothing to heal the spirit. The hospital, the spirit and the world need more healing ceremonies, fewer exorcisms... Just like the world needed fewer leper colonies and more antibiotics. What does exorcism really accomplish?
