Cancer-Stricken Jade Goody Collapses

Former Big Brother star Jade Goody, who is battling cervical cancer, was hospitalized over the weekend after collapsing at her home in London.

Goody, 27,was taken to London’s Royal Marsden Hospital because she apparently fainted shortly after a chemotherapy session.

A source said, “Jade has gone through an awful few days and has been very ill.

“She collapsed at the end of the week and had to go back into hospital. She is a fighter, but the treatment has just taken everything out of her and she has been in excruciating pain.”

Jade’s boyfriend JackTweed was recently released from jail and she wanted to have a “welcome home” party for him but with this latest setback, it’s not known if she’s well enough for any sort of celebration.

Her rep Max Clifford said, “She has been in a lot of pain and she is going through hell.

“It is a battle for life, but her condition has not worsened and treatment is ongoing.”

Although Jade was given just a 40% chance of survival, she did receive good news a few weeks ago.

The mom-of-two said, “I was told my cancer cells have shrunk a little, which means the chemo is working. But it’s too soon to say if I have a better chance of survival.”

Jade has two boys – Bobby Jack, 5, and Freddie, 4 – and I can’t even imagine going through all that she is and worrying about her kids. I’m sure she’s terrified of not being around to raise her precious children and although they’re young, it must be hard for them to see their mom so sick.
