Salma Hayek Says Hooey To The Biological Clock

Feeling panicked because you think time may be running out to get a bun in the oven? It’s all in your head. At least according to Salma Hayek, who says the best time to start a family is later in life. She mentions nothing about a woman’s chances of getting pregnant diminishing as she gets older, but so what – have you seen the breasts on this woman? I’m thinking she probably gets to say whatever she wants.
“When you turn 40, it’s a lost easier than 30,” said Hayek, 42, who gave birth to daughter Valentina in 2007. “They lied when they said you get old when you’re 40. The best is the 40s.”
Hayek says she’ll “maybe” expand her brood, adding that she won’t let her age determine whether or not she’ll have more kids.
“I had her at 41. I don’t sleep because she doesn’t sleep, but I have a lot of energy,” she says. “I don’t feel like, ‘Oh my God, this is too late.’ ”
