Man Discovers Co-Worker Is Really Dad

Posted by Cole Gamble at 10:00 AM on February 19, 2009

Police Sgt. Chris Walker might have looked up to his co-worker Clay Hamilton as a father figure.

Funny thing that.

For years Walker struggled to know who is biological father was. He did know the man’s name and thought it as interesting that a man who worked on the force with him in Virginia went by the same. Oh, and the guy looked just like him.

A call from Walker’s mum confirmed the man’s suspicions; the Hamilton he served on the force with was his biological father. Even though Hamilton who knocked up Walker’s mother had not been heard from for 37 years, Walker holds no grudge.

“He’s my dad, and I love him,” Walker told a newspaper. “God works in the mysterious ways.”

Indeed. No how’s about some 37 years worth of back child support, daddy-o?
