Heath Ledger’s Dad: Michelle Doing Great Job With Matilda

Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose a year ago in January and he left behind a daughter – Matilda Rose, 3 – with actress Michelle Williams. Heath’s family has been very vocal about their close relationship with Williams and how much they adore Matilda.
Heath’s dad, Kim Ledger said, “Michelle keeps her [Matilda] very closeted. I [don't] think she’ll really know very much about the fuss of what’s going on (referring to Oscar night), which I think is a good thing.”
And the rumors of a rocky relationship with Michelle? Not true.
Ledger added, “We’re very close with Michelle. She’s going an amazing job with Matilda, and we speak all the time so we’re in constant contact and always will be.”
I believe Michelle wants what’s best for her child,and she would never deny her a relationship with her grandparents. They are a connection to her late father and that’s very important for her.
Matilda will also get all of her father’s awards, including his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.
