Bristol Palin Thinks Her Baby’s Daddy Is White Trash?

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston became teenage parents last December to son Tripp. The couple were engaged to be married this summer, but they’ve since broke it off – according to sources, Bristol thinks Levi is “white trash.”

Levi’s sister Mercedes said she believes Bristol and her mother Sarah Palin are the ones to blame for the split. She said, “Levi tries to see Tripp every single day, but Bristol makes it nearly impossible. She tells him he can’t take the baby to our house because she doesn’t want him around ‘white trash’.”

Mercedes goes on to say that Sarah doesn’t have a problem with her daughter referring to the Johnston family as trashy. Well, there was the incident of Levi’s mother, Sherry and her arrest and charge of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance (manufacturing or delivering drugs) as well as a fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession. Perhaps they feel uncomfortable with the baby going to their home?

The Palin’s deny this, and in a statement from Sarah’s rep on behalf of Bristol, said, “Unfortunately, my family has seen many people say and do things to ‘cash in’ on the Palin name. Sometimes that greed clouds good judgment and the truth.” The rep added that the Palin family is not trying to stop Levi from seeing his son and his extended family is also allowed to see the baby.

As well, Levi said their split was mutual and he admitted he’s not mature enough to even consider marriage at this time. He does, however, want to be a father to Tripp.

Bristol has described Levi as a “hands-on” dad, and said while being a parent is hard, Tripp has brought her much joy and does not regret having him.
