Hot Dogs With Spaghetti Inside – What’s NOT For Dinner
Posted by Brett Singer at 12:00 PM on April 24, 2009
So, like, ew.
BoingBoing links to a page on LiveJournal (I can’t tell you the site name because it appears to be in Russian or another language that I don’t recognize) that shows a new way to cook hot dogs.
You stick dry spaghetti in them and then cook.
The result looks like something that might be served on the Island of Dr. Moreau.
BoingBoing quotes “DrO” as saying that stuffing the dogs with noodles creates “amusing culinary constructs that kids seem to love.”
I think this would gross my kids out. They aren’t big frankfurter fans to begin with, and I don’t think making the weenies look like they have worms inside would increase their appeal.
Do you think your kids would eat this?

My kids would definately eat this…they would think it was great. I would serve it with cheese, would taste like Mac n cheese with hotdogs, which is something they eat anyway from time to time.
I will most likely do this this weekend, and surprise them with these little octopus’s on their plates!!
Great idea, IMO!!
I would eat this, and I might try it tonight!
That is the one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen…
