Woman Gives Birth To Twins On 5th Avenue

It’s a miracle on 5th Avenue. In Manhattan, a 39-year-old woman gave birth to not one but two babies on the busy bustling thoroughfare. At the Mount Sinai Medical Center, one of the maternity nurses heard the screeches of a woman from the street outside. She stated that, “”There’s a certain kind of sound that comes from women who are about to deliver. It’s not just a typical scream. It’s a whole-body scream.” She looked out the window and saw a frantic man trying to park.
The nurse grabbed a team and equipment and ran outside to help. As the crew blocked off two lanes of traffic, the woman gave birth, right there on 5th Avenue, with her legs extended out of her SUV. A crowd gathered and after the first baby was born, passing taxi drivers cheered. Soon after the 4-pound, 14 ounce girl was born her twin, a 5-pound, 5-ounce boy was delivered.
The babies, born several weeks premature, were admitted into the neonatal intensive care unit and the nurse, well she gave the dad cleaning supplies to clean up the SUV and he was finally able to finish parking.
If you were on 5th Avenue that day, would you stop and check out the birthing action or keep walking?
