Can You Compete With Madonna?

Someone took a survey to find out who is the hardest working mum in showbiz. Why on earth would they do that? Are they trying to invalidate every other mum out there?

The winner of this dubious award is Madonna. She is Hollywood’s hardest working mum. *cough* *cough*

This poll irritates me on several levels. First, according to reports, Madonna doesn’t spend a whole lot of time with her kids. Second, just because she topped the earnings list means diddly squat to her kids. Third, I think this kind of poll is ridiculous because, people like you and me, who work our asses off for little more than the kisses our kids give us before they go to bed at night could never compete. I don’t know about you but after I play chef, housekeeper, nanny and chauffeur, I’m beat.

I bet my kids think I’m the hardest working mum they know.
