Gold Logie For Rebecca Gibney

Australian Post Posted by Amber Robinson at 12:22 AM on May 4, 2009

Congratulations to Packed to The Rafters star and mum Rebecca Gibney.

She won two Logie awards last night, including the coveted Gold Logie for most popular TV personality, thanks to her role playing Julie Rafter in the hit Seven Network drama. She also picked up a Silver for Most Popular Actress.

Although Gibney has had a total of 20 Logie nominations in her TV career, she hasn’t won one since 1991 for the ABC series Come In Spinner. What a comeback!

Since then she has also become a mother to Zachary Edison Bell, whom she thanked in her Silver Logie acceptance speech.

Check out the red carpet gallery from the 51st TV Week Logie awards to see Gibney and her castmates all frocked up.
