George Clooney To Testify On Behalf Of Cindy Crawford’s Hubby

Last week, word got out that Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber was getting sued for sexual harassment by two former employees. Now, it looks like George Clooney’s stepping in to save the day.
The lawsuit accuses the restaurant mogul and father of two — Presley, 9, and Kaia, 7 — of kissing and getting touchy-feely with one employee and then firing both women because they wouldn’t give in to his advances. It’s a pretty serious charge, and it can be pretty damaging to a reputation whether it’s true or not.
Thankfully, George Clooney has stepped in to set the record straight. He was apparently hanging out with Gerber on the night in question and is ready to testify against the sexual harassment story. This is what Clooney had to say:
“I was with Rande the entire night — as were a lot of people — they will all say the same thing that I’m saying. This event never happened. Period.”
While sexual harassment cases are notoriously difficult to prove, I tend to think of Clooney as a pretty honest guy. It would totally suck for Cindy and Rande’s kids to have daddy getting branded as some kind of sexual predatorif the allegations are false.
