Actor/writer/artist Christen Clifford has joined with cartoonist David Heatley to bring you the cartoon version of her daughter’s birth. At home.

Not a single lit candle or Enya-pumping iPod appear in any frame. But there is a butternut squash. And this:

Ken sets up the tub and soon after the midwives show up. Then there’s anger. Big, big anger.
