Octomom’s Baby Factory Closed Forever!

Octomom Nadya Suleman, who is mum to fourteen, may or may not have planned to have more children (let’s assume not, shall we?)- but the decision is no longer hers to make. She requires surgery that will make it virtually impossible for her to become pregnant, ever again.

Nadya will be at Kaiser Permanente – same hospital she gave birth in – having benign fibroid tumors removed from her uterus, thus making it almost impossible for her to ever have more children. Let’s hope she thinks fourteen babies is plenty anyway. She’ll spend about a week recovering, and her children will be in the care of their nannies during that time.
Suleman said she’s “terrified,” and had a will drawn up. She even mentioned the “Christian couple” she has lined up as guardians in case something were to ever happen to her.

She’s annoying and sort of wacky, but I do hope the surgery goes well and she recovers quickly – those babies need their mum.
She claimed she was “mandated” to have half her uterus removed and that she couldn’t have kids after. People caught that LIE, mostly because:
1. A doctor can’t force anything,
2. There is no procedure that removes half a uterus,
3. The procedure she listed is the only choice of several she had available that increases chances of pregnancy, (and is the least recommended option unless you WANT more kids)
4. You don’t stay a week in hospital for this (1-2 days) unless of course trying to get away from kids,
5. She’s a compulsive liar.
The procedure she talks about is done to preserve and improve chances of pregnancy. Much simpler, safer, and more effective options are available but do permanently prevent pregnancy. She CHOSE the OPTION that INCREASED her chances of a future pregnancy.
