Nicole And Joel Having A Boy?!

Will Harlow Winter be getting a brother in August? According to their friends, just about everything they’ve bought the baby is blue.
“Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue.”
Not to jump to conclusions or anything, but unless Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are deliberately trying to mislead the media (I wouldn’t put it past them), or they just really freaking like the color blue, it sounds like they’re expecting a boy.
A different friend is reporting that Nicole has pretty much already let the cat out of the bag by calling the baby “he” repeatedly.
“Plus, she recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue.”
I’m not necessarily saying we should trust these “sources,” but hey they have a 50/50 chance of being right. Plus, it would be cool for the Richie-Maddens to have one of each.
