We were breech the whole time til 36 weeks & getting nervous about c-sections when baby turned on her own (I was trying lots of head down, bum up poses and swimming and had booked in for moxybustion)... Only to turn back by 37 weeks and wedge herself wrong way up. My doc gave me the option of ECV(external cephalic version: turning by manipulating baby thru your stomach) & after lots of frantic reading and dire warnings that it would be very painful, possibly dangerous and probably wouldn't work we decided to try it and it worked! Yes it was a bit painful for a few minutes but I was fine after & went on to have a fantastic birth experience. I'd do it again in a flash knowing what I know now...
