I See You – In The Dark!

digital blue night vision 233x300 I See You In the Dark!

Lock your door Mum and Dad, every spy kid’s dream is here.

The Night Vision digital video camera from Digital Blue is the toy to buy if you want to ward off  the familiar cry of“I’m booooored”.

Set up like the pricing guns at the local grocery store, the camera lets your kids see in the dark, and record it! The resolution is low (1.3 megapixels), but comparable to most kid’s cameras, and the pictures are none too shabby! My little tester was sold on the easy-to-use controls and the ultra large preview screen (bigger than most digital cameras on the market at 2 inches).

The Night Vision camera earns extra points for transitioning itself when your kid walks from inside the house where all the lights are on to outside in the backyard where it’s pitch black. Tip – buy an extra secure digital card to store their stills and video, the internal memory is small, and they’re going to be using this one all summer long.

Get it from Toys R Us for $US79.99.
