Is your toddler having trouble sorting out their entree fork from their fish knife? That’s probably quite normal.

But if you are keem to start encouraging good table manners from an early age then this European bamboo place setting is a stylish and practical approach.

The set comprises individual fish, meat and entree plates, a soup bowl and separate cutlery for fish, meat, entree, soup and dessert courses – all marked with corresponding symbols. It is presented on a cool tray that has jigsaw-like spaces for each piece, so you don’t have cutlery flung all over the table.

It is available from Little Fashion Gallery, along with a sister place setting with an Asian “zen’ theme. (Think bowls and chopsticks). It will set you back £125, and they do deliver to Australia.
