Note to self – don’t piss off your kids. Their disdain may not just follow you during your lifetime but may haunt you after your death.

William Ireland had such hatred for his father that he sold his father’s ashes on eBay. In the post the man said: “Here are the ashes of my father, Kenneth Ireland, an adulterer who left a wife, two children and just £17 in her pocket. He never paid a penny towards his kids’ upbringing.”

When the son was six, his Dad left his wife and two kids for another woman. Years later, William reconnected with his father. “When I found him we started seeing each other then he died in 2006. I found out his estate was going to the woman he left my mother for and their son. I thought he might have made it up to me. Obviously he never cared.”

Needless to say the son was pretty damn bitter. After paying the bill for his Dad’s funeral, he acquired the ashes. In revenge, he decided to sell his Dad’s ashes on eBay with a starting bid of 99 pence (about $US1.65).
