Nancy Shevell And Paul McCartney Are Not Engaged (Photos)

Return that toaster – the wedding between Nancy Shevell and Paul McCartney is apparently only a rumor. McCartney publicist Paul Freundlich says, “There’s no truth to it.”
Both the Sunday Mirror and Sunday Telegraph reported that McCartney had received approval from his children if he wanted to go ahead with the marriage. The publications also reported that Shevell, 49, was granted a divorce ending a 23-year union with Bruce Blakeman on December 9, but did not refer to any public legal documents.
I’m sure McCartney’s daughter Beatrice gave her approval as well – the Beatle had a contentious divorce with Beatrice’s mom, Heather Mills, that ended last year with plenty of mud-slinging and Mills receiving almost $US50 million.
