Experts Blast Jacksons Over Paris Speech

IMO, Paris Jackson’s speech was easily the most compelling part of the Michael Jackson memorial, but was letting 11 year-old Paris address the worldwide audience a mistake? Some child psychologists say the attention may be too much for MJ’s pre-teen princess.
Certainly, MJ tried his very hardest to keep his children out of the probing eye of the media. You remember the creepy masks? Yesterday, his family just made her a focal point of one of the most-watched broadcasts in TV history.
Explains child psychologist Linda Blair:
“To be thrust into the limelight as Paris was is potentially very traumatic. This is a girl who has been shielded from the media her whole life. When a child is in shock, as Paris still will be from her father’s death, the most important thing is to keep everything as normal as possible. But the opposite has happened here.”
“The world has rarely seen Paris’ face and has never heard her talk. But here she was making a speech to billions of people across the world. She is completely unused to speaking on stage. But here she was speaking on the biggest stage possible.”
“In times like this logic goes out the window, so you can’t blame the family for letting her do it. But they certainly made a bad judgment.”
Was there really any harm done by letting Paris speak? I don’t really think so.

You are an idiot psychologist. Period. if she can’t speak, she would not have spoke. I think MJ life was living in front of public. This is best way to introduce themself to the world. I think it is absolutely perfect. There is still people hate MJ and who are biased against anything MJ related. I rather see MJ kids happy by promoting themself. There is nothing normal with MJ kids. grow up. I would agree if it is normal family. These kids are brought differently and well equipped , based on what i saw. Go find another job.
